Steps to Generate API Key Details in Mimecast

Follow the Mimecast Knowledgebase article to create your API Application ID and Key, and your Access Key and Secret Key.

Steps to Add Keys and IDs in ADR

To add Mimecast Support, follow the steps below:


  1. Go to Settings > Administration > Add-on Store.
  2. In the Filter, type "mime"
  3. Click the Mime Cast link.
  4. Click on the Add Mime Cast button.
  5. Complete the details below:
    1. Enter a name of the device.
    2. Enter the IP address of your CCE
    3. Enter your Access Key in the Access ID/ User Name section.
    4. Enter your Secret Key in the Password/Secret Key section.
      Important: Do not include any "+" characters in the Secret-Key when configuring Mimecast. 
    5. Now add valid JSON format in the last field with valid credentials, in this format:

      {
      "app_id":" ",
      "app_key":" ",
      "email_address":" "
      }

    6. Select Save.


Verification

  1. Go to the UI and go to System > Log/Flow Collection Status.
  2. Under Source Device IP, Mimecast will be reflected.
