Overview

VMWare Workstation is not suitable for Production environment installs of the AZT Trust Center, but it is okay for demos and some basic testing. Below we've provided some configuration steps for setup.

Configuration

Follow the directions below to use VMWare Workstation with the AZT Trust Center. Note that vmnet1 is a host-only network.

  1. Use the following command on your computer to determine the IP range for vmnet1:
    • ipconfig /all

  2. Assign network adapter 1 of the Trust Center to vmnet1.
  3. Boot the Trust Center and configure with an IP address in range from step 1.
  4. Configure any additional test computers on vmnet1 with appropriate IP addresses.
  5. Use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (Chromium) on your laptop to manage the AZT Trust Center.

Alternative to Using Your Local Network

You can use BRIDGED to allow the Trust Center to access your local network. A local address must be assigned to the Trust Center to ensure there is no IP address conflict with other local network devices.
